Ghost Stories

Charles Dickens knew that December was the perfect time for a good ghost story. While I'm not usually a fan of the genre, this month I've read two ghost stories and liked 'em both.

One was deliciously creepy and enjoyable.

The other was deliciously silly and enjoyable.

Both are set in London. (My favorite fiction setting!)
Both will probably be made into chick flicks. (Jude Law, call your agent.)
Both provided much-needed spirited distraction from the scariness of daily life.
Enjoy.

I read Twenties Girl while on vacation - it's a very fun book, and a great vacation read. Not scary at all.

Did you cast the movie like I did?

I am so excited to check out the Sophie Kinsella book. You won't be surprised that I have read everything she has written.

I need a light read. The last three I read were deep and disturbing. I want some brain candy.

Added to my "to read" list.

I just finished The Hunger Games and am on to the 2nd book. I read it in two days.

Of course I haven't SLEPT in two days and my house is a total mess, but I loved the book.

I'd like to say that I'll go out and read them but I know that won't happen. I'm just not much of a reader. So I'll wait until the movie comes out, staring Jude Law of course ;)
