Each shop does its own scarecrow, too. This one was outside Chico's! I think I'll borrow her outfit. Notice the nail polish. The twins said, "Ooooh, she's very spooky..." (Sometimes Chico's clothing can be frightening...and the salespeople are even worse.)

looks like a fun day! i love the seasons! it feels so good to enter a new one!
That's so funny about the Chico clothes and salespeople. I can totally see that. There is no place like the east coast for celebrating Halloween. It is HUGE.
On another note, had Christie told you our other connection? My dad was next door neighbors with your parents. THey were really good friends. He home taught them I think.
It's still like 93-humid-degrees here. I'm ready for fall, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere near here.
One year when Jake was the only kid out there, I tended for a week. I quickly realized that containing J. in the car seat was a necessary period of relaxation for me, so everyday we drove around the neighborhoods. The Halloween decor was unbelievable! Every yard had scarecrows or witches propped up, and graves with ghosts floating over them. It was so fun!!
We have a place by us called Lombardi Ranch that we go to every fall. They do the scarecrow thing too. Super fun!
I'm glad you got your package and liked it! I sent it out a week ago (I wonder what took so long to get there...hmmm....oh well). Did it have the right info on it? Tell me & I can switch the tags if they are wrong!?!
I remember cute Peddler's Village! There's nothing like autumn in the East. The colors are so vibrant! Villages and Hamlets are the best places to imagine the Headless Horseman or witches riding through the night.
Um FYI= that post that says MOM is actually from me- I'm at my parents house. Lo siento mucho amiga. ;)
Leave it to Chicco's to make a sparkly scarecrow. Is she part vampire or did her lipstick just run?
Ha ha ha! Laughing out loud at the Chico's comment.
LOVE Amelia Scareheart. What a fun place!
We strut around here in Texas in 95 degrees acting like it's fall with our fake pumpkins, but sadly, it won't look fall until Thanksgiving.
But at least it isn't snowy.
I love Fall. It looks like a fun place to go. I love the scarecrow. I love your kids comments!
