April ADD

I have got a serious case of Attention-Deficit-Disorder, these days. Or maybe it's just old-fashioned Spring Fever. Whatever it is, it's making it extremely difficult for me to concentrate on any one thing. Just typing right now I feel all antsy and jittery.

It's not all my fault. The weather has been completely unpredictable. I had to scrape my windshield this morning before Seminary, but now it's dinnertime and the kids are all barefoot and certain areas of the house are wafting the unmistakable fragrance of Warm Boy.

Also, a lot of extended family excitement. My brother's amazing recovery from a hit & run accident. My bro-in-law's trek to deepest Africa to bring home my new nephew & niece.

Baseball games, bridal showers, friends having surgery, a trip to the races, not to mention a huge, magical birthday-times-two extravaganza in the works.

And then there's the pesky day-to-day feeding and clothing and cleaning business. No wonder I just want to gaze out the window...

Instead, I will post these photos of the PreK field trip to the farm. Enjoy.

This is my favorite...

I dislike that "I've been playing/sweating outdoors" smell that kids bring in with them. Good thing you love them! We are having cold mornings too but it's been so sunny and beautiful. So happy to hear your brother will be okay and exciting news about your soon to arrive niece and nephew!

Warm boys smell like puppies. Warm young men smell like big dogs.

You do have a lot going on. Sometimes the every day boring is nice.

Have fun at the races. Take lots of pictures and spare no fashion detail.

Great picture. Happy news about your new nephew and niece! Not happy news about your brother but I'm happy that he should be okay!

I totally have ADD right now. I had a clever spring post all written in my head and it will never make it to reality because I don't have the patience to sit down and write it. Trust me, it was good.

Love that final picture. Perfect angle.

I am having a little bit of A.D.D. and can't concentrate. So sorry to hear what happened to your brother. I am so glad he is okay. Your mom has a wonderful attitude about it.

I am sick of the unpredictable weather too. I am ready to be warm every single day now. Not the sporadic teasing of spring days.

Warm boy.....yuck. So sorry.

Why do warm girls never smell like Warm Boy?? What is the physiological reason for that? I really want to know.

Ah, the warm boy aroma. I first noticed it when I was a little girl and my mom hauled the cub scouts around in our station wagon. She'd always air out the car afterwards. Some things never change!

Little girls have their own issues. They don't need to smell to be annoying. I learned to anticipate the summertime "there's nothing to do . . ." whine accompanied by a grumpy pout and loud groan.

These are the signs of spring.

But luckily popsicles are the answer to all these problems!

Nothing worse than the warm boy smell on a warm day. Blech.

LOVE the stinky pig picture. That's one for the books!

I hear ya...we have got plenty of Warm Boy smells around my house, too.

You have had a lot of things going on...*PHEW*...take a deep breath...of course, careful not to inhale too deeply incase any warm boys are standing nearby ;).

I also hear you on the whole, "feeding, clothing and cleaning buisness" . Too labor intensive if you ask me.

I read about your brother on Stie's blog-so crazy. I hope he recovers quickly! Oh, I always seem to forget about "warm boy" smell kinda like how I forget about labor pains until they begin again-glad those are over!
