Is it global warming? El Nino? Indian Summer? I don't care what it is but I love it!
It has been in the sixties for the past three days and we've been living like California beach bums.

The roofers are wearing shorts and t-shirts and big happy smiles.
(Can you imagine doing their job in the typical January chill?)
Yesterday, after dentists' appointments, I let the kids play hooky and took them to the park instead of back to school. It was just too beautiful to pass up the sunshine.
No coats. No jackets. Only rocks, water and dirt.
It was the perfect way to spend a sunny January afternoon!
Here's hoping the nice weather doesn't float away too soon!

There's two feet of snow in my front yard. I'm sooo jealous. When I say two feet, I literally mean TWO FEET. It hasn't stopped.
I have a cold, and I am achy, so I loved this warm and inviting post.
I love the last photo...here's to hoping that your boys don't float away, either.
It must be one of those things because here in "Sunny CA" it hasn't been sunny! We must have traded places. It's been below 40 in the mornings. Which to you might seem warm, to me-I'm a CA beach bum- that's ICE COLD. FREEEZZZINNNNG....
It's a blizzard here! Lucky-y-y-y-y-y.
We're on the same pattern as you. Be ready for a gradual cooldown. Probably starting tomorrow. It was nice while it lasted, eh?
Can you send that warm front our way? Please?
Love your house too!
Good call Mom on letting them soak up a beautiful afternoon. Enjoy it!
What a cool mom to skip school after the dental work. Now it will be associated with fun, not terror!
Welcome to Texas. I don't know how you people stand the winters. I have been here 10 years and I am an official wimp.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. LOVE your house!!
wow, what a great way to take advantage of the afternoon! We have been petering the kids to take advantage of the weather also - it won't last. Was 0 degrees 4 days ago... been in the 60s for 3 days! Alas... ours is also going away... tonight, snow, I believe.
What a nice nice mom! (Listening to Hill Cumorah right now!--I'm feeling like I need a spear and somewhere to battle!)
