Oatmeal and glitter make a quick and easy Christmas Eve tradition. Mix together and sprinkle on the lawn. The sparkles help Santa find your house and the oats are a power-snack for his hardworking reindeer!

My story...past, present and future!

Fabulous idea. I especially like glitter when it is outside.
I don't buy my kids glitter. They didn't learn about it until they went to school. I just can't stand the mess of it all. I am so stifling their creativity with my need for clean!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I still have at least one (maybe two) believers who would humor me on this...
Thanks Gab...great idea.
That is such a darling idea! My kids would LOVE that. Now, I just have to remember the idea 16 days from now. Wish me luck.
I, too, hated all things messy. Playdough was about as far as I could go without unusual motivation. Gab, you run your home like a kindergarten, with lots of opportunities to make and create, sparkle and shine. This sounds like an idea I could have handled. I wish you'd given me these suggestions in those days.
Mom, I tried...but you never wanted to listen to me back then!
This is a great idea. My kids will love it. Thanks!
Levi's preschool teacher did this in a little baggy for all her kids last year and it was the highlight of Christmas Eve. Right before he went to bed, we sprinkled a path to our house.
Hmmm... I need to buy some glitter and do it again!!!
You are giving to Jessica. See blog for the rules
that sounds cute...how does it clean up?i'm also a person that hates all the messy stuff...i had glitter on my bar stools for about7 years from a birthday party...it never goes away...
Just a note...if you are making Reindeer Bling and decide it might make a good hand-out at the church Christmas party...don't. Many complaints today at church. Sorry, Bishop!!!
