Calling All Booklovers!

If you love to read about readers, enjoy books about books and stories within stories...The 13th Tale is a must-read! I fell into this one head-first and did not want to come up for air all weekend.
Diane Setterfield writes so beautifully and so timelessly. This is a new release, but reads like a classic. It's a mystery and a ghost story in the tradition of Rebecca (another must-read). Get it and enjoy!!

We read that a couple of months ago for book club. It was interesting, wasn't it? I couldn't put it down, but I also really didn't like too many of the characters. Except maybe her father. :-) It was definately a fun read.

The stuffing was good. I baked it. I wouldn't have thought about the crockpot.

Ooooh. Just the cover itself makes me want to read it. That is beautiful.

I am always on the lookout for a good book group book. I'll have to check it out.

Thanks for the suggestion.

And I can't wait to see pics of the 3 legged dog! Glad your Thanksgiving was nice.

Thanks for the reccomendation. Have you thought about going on GoodReads? It is fun and you get to rate books. It is like facebook for book people. If you ever do it, make sure to invite me so we can share more of our lives!

YAY YAY YAY for book recommendations. I'm heading right to my library website to request it. (Was it you who recommended Born on a Blue Day? Loved it.)

Thanks for the recommendation, I am always on the look-out for good reads. I'll add this to my, things to read while not nursing or changing infant diapers or chasing a two year old - i.e. I'll get back to you in about 2 years!

I started this one but had to return it to the library. Now you've reminded me so I'll have to pick it up again!

Sadly, I picked up two losers from the library for last week's holiday & airplane rides :(. I hate it when that happens.

Sounds like thanksgiving was a blast! I met your dad in his ward the Sunday before thanksgiving. I looked over and just knew it was him and said hi as friends of C&J. I didn't want to scare him with how I read about his whole family via their blogs :).

Just picked this up from the library this evening so I'll start it tonight!
Glad your Turkey Day went well. Ours was nice but the food left a bit to be desired. Oh well, there's always Xmas!
