Me, to my 3-year-old, after his bath: "Mmmmmmm! You smell so fresh and clean!"
3-yr-old, after sniffing me back: "Mmmmmm! You smell so nice and ...BROWN!"
(I was wearing a brown sweater. I hope that's what he meant...)

That's funny. At least he stopped with brown. Ethan has the most sensitive nose. He'll often ask me "have you showered? because you stink!" It's most depressing if I have showered within the hour of him asking.
Make sure you remind him of that story when he is 13 and truly smelly.
Hey Gabi--
I know this is a couple of posts late, but I saw some ghosts at WalMart today for "boo-ing" your neighbors. The label said $2, but I bet there will still be some after Halloween.
Maybe you could just buy one and hang it out early next year to avoid the ghosting!
I love three year olds. I could listen to their funnies all day. Oh, so I guess that is actually what we do isn't it? Lucky us!
Kids are so kind, aren't they? Good thing we have healthy self-esteems.
I like to tell my son he smells like a hamster. He says "just like Henry!" his cousin and Celia's kid.
Davr--Guess what? We got booed again last night, too! (I guess our first ghost fell off in the rain.) Was that you???
I think anything that is said by someone who has been pooing in their own pants in the last year doesn't count. He may be potty trained now, but he hasn't always been. I wouldn't take his criticism too seriously.
He is so dang cute, though. Can't help that!
What a cute kid- even with the brown comment!
