third-grade!
I couldn't even get a good shot of her climbing into the bus...she was boarded in the blink of an eye. Loved her first full day! I hosted the third annual "Back to School Brunch" for all the happy moms!

Back-to-School Bacon Wraps
Wrap "Li'l Smokies" sausages with 1/2 slices of bacon. Secure with toothpick. Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. (Watch that they don't get too brown!)
Serve hot out of the oven.
**I got this recipe from Christie...I only make them once a year, but they are SOOO good and always first to go!

Congrats on getting through the first day of school. WHOO HOOO...almost done with the backpack tags and then they are off.
And I am so stealing Christie's recipe! Yum.
Funny you mention that - I am hosting a back-to-school luncheon here on Friday. Might have to pull out the old sausage/bacon combo. Deadly!
I love your new china cabinet! Your dining room looks awesome!
hooray, hooray. cute kids and cute luncheon! you are amazing. i do love that china cabinet in your sunny dining room. what a fun tradition with all the ladies.
Oooh! I can't wait to try that recipe. Sounds so much better than the same old smokies in crescent rolls.
Again, your house is darling. I SO love the front porch. Those aren't so much common here in Texas. All brick. Ah well...
Congrats on surviving the summer!
I've had enough with the bus pictures. A girl can only handle so much envy. Congratulations on earning part time freedom!
I love the idea of a back-to-school luncheon. What a fun idea. I should have done that for my friends. Maybe I still could. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
do you mind that I copied this recipe into my recipe book? I want to be able to find it again. It's sounds greasy and delicious!
