It is such a kick to pick the fruits of our labors...even if the kids won't touch cucumbers and I'm not the biggest tomato lover. Zucchini bread, anyone?

Mmmm... just cooked up some zucchini and yellow squash fresh from the grandparent's garden this afternoon. Steamed and sauteed them in butter tonight for dinner. Yum! Surprisingly one of the kids actually enjoyed it and asked for seconds! There's hope!
Okay, Nigella, get on over to my house and show me how it's done!
just slice those tomatoes up and put on a piece of sourdough bread with mayonaise and salt and pepper...yummmm
