I just finished Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. Excellent! I learned so much about 19th century China. Lots of details about women's daily lives, including footbinding. It was fascinating! This month my bookclub is reading A Train to Potevka by Mike Ramsdell...true story of an LDS CIA agent in Russia. It's not great literature, but the story is exciting. What are you reading?

Ordinary Heroes by Scott Turow. It's about a 55 yr old man whose father dies. He finds out the dad was court martialed during WWII and that the lawyer who tried the case has a journal the dad wrote about what happened. The author wrote Presumed Innocent, and this book is good, but not that good.
