Never Mind

Hmmm...I'm having second thoughts about this whole moving thing...

First, all of our friends are being so nice and saying stuff that makes me cry.

Second, our house looks totally amazing now. Check out the beautiful new countertops! I love them.

And the kids' new-and-improved bathroom....

(By the way, please settle a little marital dispute...does this wall look purple or periwinkle to you? All I know is, it's NOT the sky blue I envisioned. Paint chips can be deceptive. Whatever.)

Third reason I am having second thoughts: spring.

Sure, moving sounds great during February blizzard season.

But now it's officially my favorite season. This weekend did not disappoint. Blue skies, sunshine, green, green, green.

Today we picnicked by the stream in our backyard. Heaven.

i cannot even wrap my mind around how cold that stream must've been.
ACK!

definiitely periwinkle. sorry if that's not your side of the argument.

You're moving? Yeah, I've been a little out of it as of late. I'm trying harder though. Promise.

The wall is definitely periwinkle. Not even CLOSE to purple.

From all the pictures I've ever seen of your home, it's pretty much my dream home... and that was before I knew about the stream in the backyard. I'd be sad too! I'm sad FOR YOU!

I'm not helping, am I?

I can understand why your neighbors don't want you to move! I love granite counter tops and the dark wood cabinets! Pretty!

And I think the wall looks like a very light lavender. But isn't that what periwinkle is?

Could you keep your house as a vacation home? (I'd learn towards lilac.)

I think you should stay! The countertops are just too nice to leave and you'd be way to far for a weekend visit. Looks a tad on the purple side.

I see periwinkle...whose side am I on...I hope yours...

Yeah, those are all compelling reasons to stay...

I want your countertops to come live at my house. They look fantastic.

I think you should stay because I like Thanksgiving in Amish Country with you. And, as you know, your life should always revolve around me, right?

Purple, definitely. I have no clue what periwinkle looks like.

Then don't move.

I think it is purple.

On my monitor it's purple. Any way you look at it, it's not blue.

oh no.. gabi, i'm sure this is just the beginning of lots of boo hoos. but remember the adventure you're embarking on! you're pulling a seinfeld and pulling out while still on the top. if anyone will stay in touch with friends from afar, it's you!!!

p.s. the counters look awesome.
p.p.s. we have the SAME shower curtain and yes, that's certainly NOT blue. oh well, it's still pretty.

It's definitely purple! But it's not as bad as I was thinking when you were talking on the phone. I have to ask - did he paint it before or after you got home?

Thanks for Saturday - it was VERY needed! I will sure miss you!

If I say the wall looks blue, will you stay??? ;)
The countertops look awesome and love the b-room upgrades.
Sorry all this stuff is making you have second thoughts about the move - I'd love it if you stayed :)

Love the new counters.

Periwinkle.

Just imagine having that weather all year round. Ok, so it may be a tad bit warmer during the summer.

Absolutely periwinkle...I know I'm on the right side of the dispute, no man knows periwinkle.

Oh, those cabinets...I wouldn't leave them either. Is it a done deal?
