Witchcraft

Grasshopper cookie + chocolate-dipped Bugle = witch hat toppers for kindergarten cupcakes.

Yes, I am the room mom and, yes, I will be pre-medicating before tomorrow's party.

This is my newest way to get help with the laundry. The kids love tossing dirty underwear over the banister.

I stand below to catch and sort. It's actually kinda fun.

Just watch for stray socks on the entry hall table.
And tonight I'm feeling truly evil after taking Jake to get braces. Two days before trick-or-treating. He can't eat anything hard, sticky, or chewy. Poor li'l pumpkin. Doesn't he look all grown up though? He's my Halloween-tween now.
What trouble's bubbling at your house?

Poor Jake! I feel for him. Great idea with the laundry though. Now I just need some stairs... Happy Halloween!

Wow. I'm room mom for both the girls' classes, but we only have like two parties a year. Kinda lame, actually.

O Gab--yet another reason I love your blog!

Halloween mania has begun! I feel sorry for your tween. National tooth decay day just isn't the same without a piece of hard, pink bubblegum.

Oh Jake does look so grown up! Bryce got his braces recently too and it does put a damper on Halloween treat-fest! More for me, I figure!

I got my braces on the week of Halloween, too. I remember drinking a chocolate malt while everyone ate caramel apples.

Love the cookies...very clever. That laundry system is working smart while working hard. I love it.

Ohhhhhh, braces...my teeth ached when I read about it...he looks so cute, though! I guess he can lick lots of lollipops and just not bite them...

Those witch hats are so cute.

Poor Jake. You owe him a milkshake at least.

I am thanking my lucky stars that my kids are too old for the room mom thing. It's a thing of the past and I am happy about it!

You're a sweet, sweet mom.
