Mother Earth's Capricious Daughter

Spring, in this part of the world,
is definitely a woman-child.
Moody, fickle, often hiding in a sulk.
But...
once she finally pulls herself out of the pout,
and emerges in all her sunshining gloriousness,
you instantly forget how annoying she can be,

and feel more beautiful just basking in her presence.
Welcome, Miss Spring.
Finally!

So beautiful! Ours think she needs to rain and it's annoying. Especially since I served an al-fresco lunch today for book club. But, thankfully, she saved her hormonal tears till after lunch!

There is not much of a difference here except that the birds are loud and the rattlesnakes are around.

What state do you live in?? Those pictures are so beautiful! I've never seen houses like that or lawns up to the street before. I think I would like to visit your fine state! If you don't mind divulging which it is...

I think I love spring best of all. Course, I always say that about the gorgeous foilage in the fall, too. I think my mortal enemy is just the winter. I don't even mind the hot humid summer because all we do is sit poolside. Gorgeous pics, btw.

So true...so true. I love your pics. That yellow house w/black shudders, white rocker on the porch and white picket fence...has been seen in my dreams. If that is your house I think I will have to repent for coveting.

Beautiful, beautiful pics. I LOVE spring. Growing up I thought it was just because my birthday was in the spring. Now I know its a little bit of that and just that fact that is just a gorgeous time of year.
