...your kids are riding a sled instead of a schoolbus.
...the laundry room looks like Land's End landfill.
> ...nothing is crossed off your beloved To-Do list.
...hot chocolate is consumed by the gallon.
...you run out of a household essential and find new joy in having a husband with a home office and four wheel drive.
...two words: carbo loading.

okay, the last pic made me salivate! Can I come over??
Cocoa + carbs = heaven
That bread looks REALLY good.
It was 40 degrees this morning taking the kids to school and I thought THAT was cold.
i think you should post a picture of yourself, so i can judge for myself just how bad your day was.
Yes, that bread looks delicious! The calories don't count on a snow day, BTW.
Want me some of that bread! And at least you have great handwriting. Most often I can't read my own to do list.
My sister stole my comment...I'll just say that a day full of chocolate & bread smothered with butter could be heavenly. Send the kids back to school & you have yourself a perfect day...with a long day at the gym to follow.
Oh, that bread looks fantastic!!!!!
I love it..."a Land's End landfill"...so funny as always, Gabi!
We had ours home again yesterday, too. They're back today, and I'm going to be swamped all day with cleaning up after them.
Since my kids have yet to ride on a school bus, I partake of hot chocolate and buttered toast on a daily basis.
It is a lot cheaper than anti-depressants.
Cheers!
This could be my post. Hershey's cocoa is the best!
Mmmm...carbo loading sounds good to me.
I smiled at the Landsend landfill, that is so my mudroom(accompanied by the regular things you might find in a landfill).
And, you have very pretty hand writing.
Mmmm... Me want bread!!
is that HOMEMADE bread??? Yummy.
I've been worried about my middle of the country, east coast friends!! Glad to know you're alright in the storms and cold.
I've got some cocoa right next to me. It helps in those chilly 60 degree nights.
The best thing about this post was the last picture of the bread. Oh, mamma. IT is calling my name, baby!
