Direct Quote

Me, trying to praise positive behavior : Thanks for the hug, sweetie! You are good at making people happy...
Twinkie, with a shrug and in most matter-of-fact tone : That's just because I'm a love machine.
p.s. Note the packing peanuts "snowstorm." Sometimes, my kids are very fortunate that a camera is the only thing I have to aim and shoot around here...

So now the question is: Where did he hear that? In casual conversation or from the song. Be honest...

Ack! I hate those packing peanuts... and the big slabs of styrofoam that quickly get turned into peanuts- you know they never go away. Try to vaccumm them and they will become charged with static and cling to everything. Cute boy!

He is CUTE!!!!!!

I've cleaned up a mess just like that...last year after Christmas. I'm sorry...I KNOW how hard that is to clean. It sticks to EVERYTHING!!!!!

LOVE the "point and shoot" comment. So true, so true.

I like the contrast between this post (cheesy 70s song) and last post (classic, spiritual Messiah).

One reason why I loathe packages and often leave them on teh doorstep until my boys are safely tucked in bed. I have cleaned up way too many packing peanuts in my day. The love machine is great!

What does it mean when I didn't know there was a song called "Love Machine?"

I like to think it means that I am super young rather than horribly out of touch.

Those love-machine children can really make us happy.
