Direct quote from the surgeon: "Your molar had longer roots than any woman I've ever seen before...except one patient from the Congo."
Thankfully, Ilene shared this delicious frozen hot chocolate recipe. So I'm enjoying that.
The Vicodin isn't too bad, either.

I'm so glad you like it! It is nice to have evidence that blog posts are indeed inspired. Enjoy the yumminess and the pain killers!
Oh, feel better soon! Vicodin and chocolate should do the trick for sure but be sure to insist on staying in bed, too.
And due respect for your overachieving roots.
I need vicodin and chocolate and I have had no surgery...
My hubby has been gone for 3 days. I am losing it.
Do you think a doctor would prescribe me something??? :)
I'm so sorry. I work for an oral surgeon (don't hate me). If it was a wisdom tooth, take 600 mg of Ibuprofen every 6 hours for 3 days. It'll help with the swelling. If you have any questions, let me know. Hang in there! Make sure the kids take care of you today!! You're supposed to take it easy and blog all you want!
Drug up, sister...drug up. The chocolate should do the trick!!
Darn teeth. Kinda like men. Can't live with em' and ya can't live without em'.
Hope you feel better soon.
Ouch, good luck with your recovery. My dental genetic mistakes cause me to have too many cavities.
no, really, thanks for not posting pictures. i got all nauseous after i saw diane's son. i don't do physical trauma well.
i wish i wasn't so lazy, i'd like to try the frozen hot chocolate. ilene recently moved to my state. i mean, she's five hours away, but stil. maybe she'll bring me some.
Ouch. Way to match the Congo lady! Impressive.
Everyone needs a little vicodin and chocolate in their life. Especially after oral surgery.
Ohhh, I am sorry. I hope you feel better. That frozen hot chocolate made me feel better too! (I linked to it as well!) Drink more.. be happy..

Ah, nothing like having freakishly long roots. You never want your case to be "interesting." I'd stick with the Vicodin and chocolate for about two weeks. Tell Brad he owes you.
I'll bet the chubby cheeked look is good on you!!!
Isn't it nice to know you have something in common with a woman...in the Congo.
I hope you feel less chipmunky soon. Iced drinks of the chocolate variety, with a Vicodin chaser oughta do the trick. Take care!
I feel your pain and was just there myself. I found relief in barricading myself in my bedroom/bathroom and doping up on anything prescribed and anything left over from the last pain session.
Hope you are feeling better soon. Thanks for linking the recipe. I'll have to try that.
From the Congo, huh?
Try to think of yourself as exotic.
Oh, you and my boy are twinners. He had his wisdom teeth removed Monday...I better go make him some frozen hot chocolate!
Happy recovery. Chocolate and drugs-good combo!
You are one cheeky mama...do you look like Sam?
did you just get the cheeks or did you acquire the fur also? hope you feel better soon...
