holy smokes! couple points here:

1. thanks for the additional pictures of your man. now i can clearly see that he is NOT carl, and that in the true spirit of your previous post, you all are not polygamists.

2. my husband did the same thing, and had his ear ripped off. ew. his bike was totalled, and just last week, (3 years later??) he bought a new one. i'm freaking out every time he gets on it.

3. wanna go mountain biking with me? both spouses are healthy now, so it would be a prime time for us to get laid out. i can totally fake an injury, and i'll help you through it as well. shhhh...

Yes, Brad and bikes do not mix. Glad he's made it one year without a relapse!

Just wanted you to know that my Grandma just sent me a forward that contained your blog post about the FLDS. It was crazy! It's going to make it around the WHOLE WORLD now! You'll be famous...except your name wasn't on it or anything. So, YOU won't be famous, but your words will be. :0)

Wow! Thanks Gab! You know I check your blog every day expecting to see something about the kids or one of your humorous, insightfull looks on life.

It was a shock to see a picture of me in the hospital because I just finished explaining the whole story to my client while we were having lunch.

Yes, I still mountainbike and Yes, I am heading to Moab for "Bike Trip 2008" in 10 days!

Of course this year we will be biking AFTER Women's Conference and Blogapalooza...just in case!

BTW, did you pay the health insurance bill?? :)

I am glad he has recovered. You are so sweet to remember anniversaries ;)

That first picture looks rather serious. Ouch.

I'm so glad that he is okay. Your ability to laugh through a situation is incredible.

I did a one year anniversary when Kendon cut his finger off. I had a sense of humor then too, but only cause I laugh in crisis situations. Kendon was not pleased!!!

Cheryl was just telling me about this the other day. I'm sure you're getting very excited for Moab next month. ;-)

I think Brad's recovery might have something to do with the wonderful home care nurse he has! ;) Thanks for patching up my big brother!

B-Rad is so cute! I'm glad he is in a state of whole-ness for the beginning of the season. He could be a stunt man for his mid-life crisis.

July 3 2007 changed my world. Not due to extreme sports. My husband does that stuff and never gets hurt. I had to learn how to walk again. I can't wait until my anniversary!
