Found...in my 3rd grader's backpack

Valentine you rock
From your secrik amier.

(Attached is a tiny stone which has been scotchtaped securely onto the pink pop-up card!)

Of course the secrik amier is no secret...there are only two girls in his class...and he is typically male in his reaction (annoyed enough to roll his eyes, but proud enough to keep the pink around for a few days.)
I am thinking any 3rd grade girl clever enough to come up with this homemade design and blog-worthy pun would be a welcome addition to our family!
Let's hear it for young love!

awww. so cute. I miss those days... I had to help my 12 year old pick out a valentine for his 'girlfriend' the other day... let's just say it did not go well.

Jakey's got a girlfriend! I love it. And she knows just the right way to get to a guy's heart - give him a big rock. Love it.

That is so darn cute. I think I'll make one of those for my husband for V-day.

That is the CUTEST THING EVER!!!
The rock... actually taped to the valentine. That's a future blogger if I ever did see one!

Ya know, once she works on her spelling anyway.

That is so cute. I remember one of my "cool" babysitters helping me write a letter to the love of my life when I was in 3rd grade. She forgot to tell me the part that I needed to give the letter to him. I found it several months ago in my "special box". I wonder what ever happened to Braden. Too bad I can't remember his last name, or I would google him.

Someday Jake can give a rock to his Valentine. This little admirer has chosen wisely.
