I just saw your profile, and loved how you described yourself. I too, am an adoptive mom, and an IVF success story (twins!!) I think I feel an instant bond with those who adopt, and have gone through IVF. Hope you have a great new year to come!! :)

Your day on the 7th makes me tired just looking at it.

Here's to a great new year to you and yours TOO!

Remind me why it's good to stick to my diet, read my scriptures, and avoid gossip? I can't seem to remember any good reasons for doing that.

Happy New Year, Gabi! How did you get hold of my resolution list?

We went and got new calendars for everyone today & we're enjoying their fresh cleanness too.

I love your chant. At least I read it as a chant. YOu just summarized my goals for the new year. Let me just get a pen and copy that all down...

It looks like you'll be just watching movies and eating bon bons the whole month of January! (I assume you have already marked up those beautiful clean pages.)

I'm with Stie...why would I want to do all those things?
I thought about flying all the way across the country for your Swedish Tea Ring. Looks so darn good. And thank you for sharing.
Meltdown Mommas unite. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has cried because of all the "kids on school break/Christmas mess" chaos. It always surprises me how much more out of control I feel when the kids are out of school (even though my Jules only goes for 3 hours daily- and if you count time dropping off and waiting it's more like 1 hour). Love those kiddos but do they know how to make messes. Sheesh. Glad you had a good cry. I always feel a little better after I cry (and clean and cook).
Happy Happy New Year!!!

P.s. What do you think about me making a Swedish Tea Ring, Valentine's day style (with red sprinkles and pink instead of green and red?). Would that bother you?

I need to go get my new calendar, too. Thanks for the reminder of all I have to do this year. Maybe if I get started now.....

Happy New Year!

Oh, that December calendar is making me TWITCH!!! I love the photo of the fresh, new calendar. The "gossip-avoiding" quip made me smile. THAT is a good resolution.

Gab- I love your blog & keep forgetting to check it, so I'm adding it to my sidebar--unless you have objections. Lest you forget...I found you from my friend Wendi's blog.

That is just so TRUE! I've been having the same conversations with my dh the last couple of days. Why is it so hard to read every day, stop gossiping and simply be a better person. It seems a life-long battle.

I am somewhere between feeling excited and overwhelmed by a fresh start! Must set goals...
