A Real Good One

Dan in Real Life has gotten some mixed reviews...but I LOVED it! The beautiful Rhode Island beaches, the cool soundtrack, the great cast, the whole story. I just loved that it was REAL and human and funny and sweet and about a happy family (for a change). I laughed out loud and cried so much I had to bite my lip to keep from sobbing...embarassing. Did anyone else see this? What did you think?

I haven't seen it but I love Steve Carell so I'll have to put it on my 'to see list.'

Haven't seen it yet, but it's on my must-see list. Might go see it solo this Wednesday when the kiddos are in school. Will let you know my verdict.

I've been wondering about this one. Thanks for the review! Maybe I can convince The Husband that we need a movie night OUT this weekend!

It will definitely be purchased on dvd. It's so cute and clever. I loved the setting and all the cute family members. Sco came away with a huge fear of three teenaged girls.

I have heard all good things...we never want to pay a babysitter to watch a movie, so I'll tell you how I liked it next May. =)

I hadn't heard of this until my cousin asked me the other day if I'd seen it. Now I at least have some context. It sounds good. I'll have to check it out.

Now if I could go to a movie and manage to stay awake.....hmmm...maybe I should bring my DP and some toothpicks to keep my eyelids open. Something about being in a dark theater with no noise (other than the movie..meaning no monkeys hanging off of me to ask me for something)....makes me fall asleep way too often. And then I'm mad I spent $10 for the tix and $40 for the food (hey don't judge me- I likey some good buttery popcorn).

Maybe Jessica can come over and watch it with me in May. Then we can do a follow up blog. I wish we had a fun life where we went to the movies.
