Apple Crisp 101



My Mother-in-Law's DELICIOUS Apple Crisp:
5 cups sliced, peeled apples
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. melted butter

Layer in 8 inch square pan.

Topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/8 tsp. each soda, baking powder and salt
1/4 cup soft butter

Mix and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Funny thing. I just put my plate in the sink from eating my apple crisp. Nathan made it. Quadrupled the recipe so we have tons. Love it!

Gorgeous photos from your pumpkin and apple adventures! I am so easily suggestible where food is concerned...I will crave apple crisp and chicken soup until I break down and make them, too.
