I am reading "Mr. Emerson's Wife" by Amy Belding Brown. It's a fictionalized account of Ralph Waldo Emerson and his second wife, Lidian. Very interesting. Christie, I keep thinking of you...since it's set in Concord, Mass. Have you read it? Anyway...I love the transcendentalists!! Enjoy...

I haven't read it yet, but it looks like one I would really enjoy. I love all those guys - whenever we'd be at Walden Pond (which was a lot) I'd think of Thoreau and all those thinkers. Thanks for the recommendation; I'll be sure to pick it up and let you know what I think.
Gab, do you still read while you're blow-drying your hair? Do you read while you're driving? I remember you bumping into things because you were always reading, even when you walked down the hall.
that's funny! I just read O magazine while I was drying my hair this morning...maybe that's why my hair always looks weird...
