What do you do when....

...you are starting to feel like this because you have been single-parenting for days

...while your husband traveled to a place where he enjoyed some of this...

...and some of this?

This is what you do.

You plan a little weekend fun.

And you invite...

the uber-Oma

the cyber Stie

your quasi firstborn, Min, pregnant with your quasi firstgrandchild(!?)

your adorable sister, Heidi (who chooses to live blog-free)...but not her adorable husband

AND ALL OTHER SISTAS AND SISTAS-IN-LAW (who still have plenty of time to change their minds and buy a cheap ticket.

That's you...Amy, Candice and Anna!)

You get a hotel room here...

You buy tickets for this...

You put aside $$$ for this...
Oh, and don't forget...
Then you will have something to keep you smiling when your husband says, "Oh, yeah. Next week..."

  1. I think we might have the same life. Except I just booked myself a ticket to see my sister. In Hawaii.

  2. Oh, that soooo makes up for the husband traveling. If ONLY I could do fun stuff like THAT when he went out of town.

I hope you have (had?) a fun time!!!

  6. Oh, I must be REALLY slow to realize that M's blog and her requests for the big apple involved YOU!!! Oh have sooooooo much fun. I gave her a huge list and it sounds like you have MUCH to accomplish! I love NYC. My husband and I went their on our Honeymoon. What can I say, we are city folk at heart. There is nothin' better than good food good shows and public transportation to make you feel "BIG CITY!"

  10. Oh, what a blast. We just purchased airline tickets last night, too. Sort of your neck of the woods, but much higher north.

Cheryl tells me you will be around Utah in July, so we must hook up for lunch. I'll be there all summer. I told Cheryl she has to come out, too.

  11. Gab! Would I be worthy of the Gab interview if I DIDN'T have a big St Patty's day meal planned?? No. Tune in tonight, or tomorrow for the recap and recipes.

  16. Hello. This post is likeable, and your blog is very interesting, congratulations :-). I will add in my blogroll =). If possible gives a last there on my blog, it is about the Servidor, I hope you enjoy. The address is http://servidor-brasil.blogspot.com. A hug.

  17. Step away from the servidor.

I'm available. I think I would fit right in. What are the dates so I can book my ticket? Are you worried about the T&A in Chorus Line.

  18. The servidor to which I refer is the comment right above me. It looks like one of those phony advertisements or possibly the P is for Porn word. You should probably erase it.

For your benefit, I looked up the definition of servidor. It seems as if it is a Spanish word meaning "poll taker."

    One....singular sensation
    Every little step she takes.
