Thanks to everyone for playing along in my Valentine Story Contest...
Rochelle, I loved your husband bleeding for you. So romantic! Melissa, finding true love on V-day is amazing. What a great memory! (My parents had a similar Valentine's Day start.) Mique, I think it's great that your tough guy has a softer side! Annie, four different guys?! You hottie, you! Lisa-Marie, if you have another "Sugar Baby" nine months from now, we promise not to count backwards! And Mr. Unmighty (AKA--Incredible Hulk), let me just say your story was totally entertaining, if not completely believable.

But I still claim to have received the best valentine ever...
I'll post with the full story soon. Til then, here are a few hints:
- this Valentine was not given to me by my husband, but he enjoys it as much as I do.
- this Valentine is sweet and delicious, but 100% calorie-free.
- this Valentine is extremely fragile and beautiful, but I let my boys play with it every day.
Any guesses?
Um, my guess is a baby that was born on Valentines?
ReplyDeleteMy guess is baby too.
ReplyDeleteEm??
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss that you had a contest?
ReplyDeleteMy guess is a baby too...
I'd say the divine Miss Em.
ReplyDeleteI kept wracking my brains trying to come up with a good story. Sadly, v-day has not always been a shining star in my life - either married or single. A boy gave me a big, heart-shaped box of chocolates in 4th grade. Does that count?
Your daughter!!! That is my guess.
ReplyDeleteI guess Em too. You gave it away on Jessica's blog. Tee hee. But you're right, you should win. A baby is best of all. I can't wait to see her photos.
ReplyDeleteOh, I can't wait to hear your story!!! I, like your other readers, would like to guess your daughter being placed in your waiting arms :) I adore how on your sidebar you call her your "only touch of pink in the testosterone zone" So well put!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go with a baby as well... but wait, you said hubby didn't give it to you? hmm
